Saturday, September 19, 2 PM: The Race to the Bottom. Mass layoffs in the tens of thousands. Big names buying up smaller studios and closing them. The rise of generative AI. Abandoning physical discs. Blatant attempts to kill the used video game industry. Massive price increases. The state of the industry is not good these days, at least, from a consumer perspective. How far will the industry go in the pursuit of endless financial growth before the whole industry crashes again? 

Saturday, September 19, 7 PM: The Remedy Connected Universe. We'll be talking about the developer Remedy and taking a deeper dive into the uniqueness of their games, specifically the ones connected in the same fictional universe despite their games varied natures, characters, and plots. We'll be mainly talking Alan Wake and Control on this one.
